Talking about her love towards Bengal cotton, designer Neeta Lulla feels, "No matter which country you belong to, a saree never fails to bring out your inner beauty. It's a fantastic feminine side that every woman has. Every region in India has its own style of saree which makes six yards of elegance. Cotton sarees are something that compliments every occasion. Even many celebrities love wearing them often as it is filled with simplicity and piousness. The well known Orissa's Ikat and Bengal handloom in gorgeous cotton yarn has become very popular even among youngsters."

Kolkata-based designer Sanchita Julka feels, "I could never think of designing if cotton fabric wasn't there! It is very elegant and also one can design anything to any extent with cotton. It gives a comfortable yet rich look, whether worn regularly or for occasions like weddings."

Fashionable celebrities love to keep it simple in cotton all the time. Off late, we have seen stars in elegant cotton sarees. Shabana Azmi has become talk of the town after her Mijwan Fashion Show. She loves keeping it simple all the time in bordered south cotton sarees by Raw Mango. After her film 'Paa', Vidya Balan maintained her loyalty to Sabyasachi sarees. She keeps it bold and beautiful in Sabya's stunning cotton bordered sarees with three-quarter-sleeve blouse. Almost all of Sabya's latest designs come in limelight through Vidya. Her different cotton avatar by Sabyasachi, especially the one in yellow black checkered saree, or the cotton saree with brocade blouse and heavy border or the simple printed blouse with bordered saree etc is to die for.
